Thermopolis is not only a Fishermans paradise and home to the world’s largest mineral hot spring but is also a haven of wild west history. Thats right Thermopolis housed many outlaws over its years and prior to that many native American tribes would come to camp, hunt and heal their ailments in the sacred hot springs now housed at the state park. The spectacular history of Thermopolis doesn’t stop there though long ago dinosaurs roamed this area! And today you can go see them at the Thermopolis dinosaur museum!
